Editor’s notes

Based Research publishes an unusually complete testing index, with a certificate for nearly every product, and we checked all of them rather than sampling. Almost all resolve on Purity Analytics, a platform that orders tests from laboratories and re-issues the results under its own digital signature, so they are confirmed with the platform rather than with the laboratories themselves. What a reader needs to know is whose certificates they are: none names Based Research. The portal records name the ordering party as 'Your Peptide Brand' and the remaining PDFs name a client called PureMD Labs with a manufacturer called YPB Labs. The company says openly that it does not manufacture peptides, which is consistent, but it does not name the supplier whose testing it publishes, so a reader cannot tell that the paperwork describes someone else's production. The documents are genuine laboratory records. The weakness is the laboratory behind most of them. A handful of newer reports name Freedom Diagnostics or Bioviridian, but the large majority come from Analytical Formulations, which has no documented accreditation, its certificates claim a trading history since 2008 against a domain registered in late 2025 that serves only a placeholder page, and its published contact is a free webmail address. 12 of the 14 PDF reports we read use UV-Vis rather than HPLC or mass spectrometry, and the portal records list UV-Vis for identity. The certificates we recorded cover identity, purity and assay; seven of them, all issued by Freedom Diagnostics Testing, also report a sterility result as of 22 October 2026, and none covers endotoxin. One catalogue note: the KLOW and GLOW blends are sold without stating total peptide content, so no per-milligram price can be worked out for them. As of October 2026, all 42 products we list have a certificate; seven were confirmed at the testing laboratory and the rest only through a testing platform or the vendor's own copy.
