Why You Can Trust Our Ratings

Every rating on this site is generated by the same formula, applied to every vendor. Sponsorship and affiliate participation never move scores, ranks, or gate status.

The Core Promise

Ratings on Peptide Source Review are produced by a published algorithm (see How We Rate) that scores every vendor against the same five factors using the same weights, the same anchor scale, and the same testing gate.

  • No vendor can pay to change their score. Period.
  • The formula is public. If you disagree with how a score was reached, you can run the numbers yourself.
  • Editor's notes describe public evidence. They are not a paid pitch and not written by the vendor.
  • The methodology page logs changes. If we re-tune the formula, every vendor is re-scored under the new rules, not just the ones we like.

How Sponsorships Work

No vendor currently pays us for placement of any kind. Our policy allows paid sponsorship in future, on these terms: sponsorship buys labelled visibility only. A sponsor might get a highlighted card or a featured banner marked "Sponsored", but never a score, a position in the rankings, the testing gate or removal, and its rating is calculated and displayed exactly the same way as every other vendor's.

  • Every sponsored placement carries a clear "Sponsored" badge. You will always know when you are looking at a paid placement.
  • Sponsorship does not change the formula, the score, the rank, or the gate.
  • A sponsored vendor with a low score still shows their low score. We will not bury a testing-gate note or a low score because someone paid for visibility.
  • Sponsors do not get advance review of editor's notes. They see them when you do.

How Affiliate Links Work

Some "Visit site" links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. This helps keep the site running. Affiliate participation never affects the score.

  • Any vendor we have an affiliate relationship with is listed publicly in the section below.
  • Partner offers are labelled. Partner picks on product pages and featured partner slots on the promos page carry a partner label, and a discount-code badge where the partner provides a code.
  • We do not boost an affiliate vendor's score. Same algorithm, same weights, same gate.
  • We do not soften criticism for affiliate vendors. If we find concerning evidence, it goes in the notes regardless of commission potential.

When that changes, every active sponsor will be listed here with the date the sponsorship began. If a sponsorship ends, it stays listed with the end date so you can see the full history.

Affiliate Status and Rankings

Affiliate status plays no part in a vendor's score or its position in our rankings. Vendors with the same score are listed alphabetically. Whether a vendor is a partner, declined, did not reply, was turned down by us, or was never asked tells you nothing about its products. The one place affiliate status matters is the labelled partner picks and the featured partner slots on the deals pages; the full ranked tables list every vendor in score order.

Featured Partner Placements

The first three offers on the promos page are featured placements held by affiliate partners, and each is labelled "Featured partner". We choose which partners hold them, and we may take into account the sales a partnership generates or a partner's request. Among offers with the same discount, we may also set the order. No vendor pays for these placements, and they never change a score, a rank or the testing gate.

Updates Pending Notices

At our editorial discretion, and on the same terms for every vendor, we may show a dated notice when a vendor says it is making changes we will be able to check. It shows the vendor's own account, which we have not verified, appears above the score and as a label in the rankings, does not change the score or rank, does not pause the review, and lapses after 30 days if no re-audit has happened. It is not a substitute for removal: reviews are not removed on request.

Our Commitments

  • We will not adjust a vendor's score because they paid us, are paying us, or might pay us.
  • We will not delay, soften, or hide negative findings about a sponsor or affiliate.
  • If we discover we were wrong about a vendor, we update publicly and note the change date in the vendor's notes.
  • We accept product a vendor offers free of charge only if we can say so on that vendor's page and publish whatever we find if we test it. Supplied material is not read by the scoring code. As of 21 October 2026 one vendor has supplied material: Zeptix Labs, 7 vials received 10 October 2026.
  • We do not remove a review because the vendor asks us to. We correct anything shown to be wrong.
  • If we ever change these rules, this page changes too, and so does its date.
  • If a sponsor ever asks us to remove or alter a finding because of their sponsorship, we will end the sponsorship and note it publicly here.
