Vanguard Laboratory's A2LA accreditation does not cover peptide testing (its scope lists microbiology, trace elements, preservatives and residual solvents), and Ethos Analytics Laboratory's PJLA accreditation covers supplement, botanical and cosmetic testing but not peptides, so their certificates no longer earn the accreditation point (check L6); each identifies by HPLC retention time (check L4), which grades them B+. This affects all 21 Modified Aminos certificates. Lab 6.9 to 6.0. The overall score stays at 6.75, held by the testing-gate cap.

The Ethos sample IDs printed on 16 certificates now count as printed keys, and the current Epitalon, MOTS-c and GLOW certificates were confirmed at Ethos; the Ethos microbiological screen (USP <61>/<62>) is microbial limits, not sterility, so it no longer earns sterility points. The testing gate is now computed from the certificates: 3 of 25 products have a certificate confirmed at a directory laboratory (Ethos lists only what a client chooses to publish, and Vanguard's lookup could not be reached), fewer than the half required, so the cap now applies and holds the score at its cap. Four products we list (MT-2, Sermorelin, NAD+ and Cagrilintide) had no certificate in the vendor's library, and under our rule they count as zero. Editor’s notes
Modified Aminos publishes a large certificate library: 86 lot-specific certificates across roughly 104 products in vials, capsules, sprays and topicals. Two laboratories issue the reports, Ethos Analytics (Phoenix, Arizona) and Vanguard Laboratory (Olympia, Washington). The vendor advertises 7X tested. The Ethos reports we read list identity, purity, net content, gel-clot endotoxin, ICP-MS heavy metals and a Petrifilm/qPCR microbial screen under USP <61> and <62>, which tests microbial limits rather than sterility. The Vanguard reports list identity, purity, quantity, endotoxin and sterility. We did not read a single certificate covering seven analyses. Ethos sample IDs show testing rounds from June to September 2026, which indicates repeat testing. Ethos publishes a verify list of the reports each client chooses to publish, and Vanguard runs a lookup at verifiedbyvanguard.com. On 22 October 2026 the current Epitalon, MOTS-c and GLOW certificates were byte-identical to Ethos-hosted copies; the sample IDs on the other 18 Ethos certificates we hold were not on that list, so they count as printed but not confirmed, and Vanguard's lookup did not resolve that day. On 23 October 2026 newer Ethos certificates for retatrutide, KPV and NAD+, from September 2026, were on Ethos's list and byte-identical to the Ethos-hosted copies. Four products we list (MT-2, Sermorelin, NAD+ and Cagrilintide) had no certificate in the library when we checked on 3 September 2026; on 23 October 2026 NAD+ carried a September 2026 Ethos certificate. Pricing is among the lowest for tested product here, shipping is flat-rate with same-day carrier handoff and insurance, and sealed items can be returned within 30 days. Modified Aminos LLC is named with Wyoming governing law, but the listed Sheridan address is a registered-agent office and no owner is named; the site lists a phone number. The domain was registered in December 2025.
